Last weekend it was finally time for Winter market at Landhaus Freeman a very nice and popular restaurant here in Kalkum, Düsseldorf. It is so nice of the owner to organize these great cute and well attended markets, normally one market each season. I am very happy to participate at these markets and they have made me more and more confident to be there and to show and sell my products.   This year I brought with my hats and I had made some new for this season. I would say that the fabrics and patterns I have bought this year at a craft fair here in Germany are more earthy tones. I don´t want to fall into the grey and beige trend because I believe in colorful especially for children. I hope I did I managed to stay colorful I hope but I will pay extra attention on this next year.  I also brought my hairbands and scrunchies. My Christmas gift bags made out of fabric was very popular this year that I almost sold out. I also sold postcards and prints of my Düsseldorf motive. ...

During my trip earlier this year to Prague I bought some new fabrics at the fabric shop which I use to buy from while living in Prague. Although funny enough when I lived in Prague I mainly bought fabrics from Sweden and now when living in Sweden I found lots of great fabrics in Prague which I brought back with me to Sweden. I was super excited to make some new funky hats after the trip, this was in April.... But some how the time has not been enough for everything I want to do and have to do. But with me now having summer vacation I am finally getting time to restart my creative projects which has been sleeping for some time. I love that feeling of creating things again, gives such great satisfaction, and makes me start to dream again that maybe maybe I should focus more on my own business. I made a few hats tonight which I had already cut out in some fabrics and when I want to cut more, I could not for my life find my pattern... I hate when I clean away things I need to places wher...

Here is some of my hats that has been created lately. I have now used up the last pieces of my elephant fabric which I love. And the new fabric with feathers I find very nice and a great unisex fabric. Also the Dala horse fabric I got from my friend Christine who asked me to use it and so I made her 1,5 year old daughter one hat and her one matching hat.

I got a lovely picture of very cute Doris wearing her new elephant hat I sent them last week. I love to see my products in action!

 I love this cute elephant fabric in organic cotton. I have it in both pink and blue and it is great to combine with some cute colorful patterns. Here is some of my latest combinations. Also the fabric on the bib is organic jersey cotton from german company Lillestoff.

Since I got my new cool sewing machine I have been creating a lot of hats & bibs in different shapes, fabric, pattern and colors. I have also widen my portfolio and are now making handy and of course colorful holders for pacifiers. Here is some of my latest creations and presents to new funky babies I know. I will take pictures of product I have for sale when I get a chance as I get a lot of questions of what I have.

Finally I had chance to create a few baby hats of a very cute pattern i bought last week. Unfortunatly hats is very much needed this summer..

I found my bag with some hats and clothing I have made ( and forgotten about)  I asked Mila if she wanted to try some stuff for me and I can take some photos of my products  She said yes and picked a floral dress made from recycled cotton material and a pair of blue shorts that fitted perfect on top of her tights. Also a couple of different hats.  and she thought it would look great if she could stand in my plastic IKEA box with left-over fabric bits and pieces.  When I asked her if she could try something else for me and gave her some cute options she said NO!!!  Models these days... Although wasn't much better when she started her carrier...

I got inspired to create some new funky kids hats. Might be because of a little feeling of spring in the air even here in Moscow. And yes ready to change the woolen hats for something new and light asap. I mixed some colorful jersey fabric that I have in my now pretty big fabric collection. The black giraffe is a favorite as well as my turquoise circus fabric designed by great Swedish illustrator Ingela P Arrhenius . Also I am this season into grey tones and found this fabric with farm animals in Prague before we moved and like to mix it with something bright. More colorful jersey dots with black and purple background. Yes I have been rather productive lately but I can't resist to try new combinations of all my cool fabrics. Here comes a nice mix of creations.   Mormor ordered a going-out-with-the-dog-hat/gardening hat. Thin nice jersey hat in a baggy model. She picked her own combination of black giraffes and dots. I also made one for Mila so they can be matching.    Below purpule/pink hat was made late night to go with Loren to Turkey as a welcome to the world gift to one of our Turkish colleague´s little girl.   I also made one for Mila and this is how the hat looks on in action. Mila discovering her first puddle.  Funky jersey dress in size 68 as an Easter present to our little friend Jade who turned 5 months the other day.

I have bought some great new fabrics from a shop here in Prague and also some nice cool Eco jersey cotton from a German company Lillestoff. It is a lot of red and dots in different sizes in my newest collection. Here comes some pictures of my latest creations. I have made a few thinner spring hats Also a cool combination of red/orange dots and black giraffes. My own design and it turned out to be far too big for Mila this year. Here Mila is posing on the floor in more colorful dots.. Made with Love tunic with cats and black jersey fabric with colorful dots from Jonic and red/orange dots tights all homemade. I made myself a matching hairband also
