På allas läppar och i alla medier just nu Coronaviruset. Jag tänkte att jag skulle skriva några rader om hur läget och situationen ser ut här i Düsseldorf idag 15 mars 2020. Men först skruvar vi vi tillbaka tiden lite. Första bilden här nedan är från 1 feburari 2020 när jag och en kompis var på teater och efter gick till en Mexikansk resturang och åt fajitas och drack Corona och på skoj tog denna bild. Jag tänkte att jag skulle lägga ut den på Instagram med en rolig text om att vi minsann är ute och dricker Corona, men sen tänkte jag av respekt till drabbade i Kina och det kanske var förtidigt för Corona skämt så jag avstod att lägga ut bilden. Men aldrig hade jag trott att situationen skulle se ut som den gör idag, att vi i våra liv skulle behöva anpassa oss efter ett virus som härjar och som sprider sig som en löpeld runt planeten. Att allt numera handlar om Corona och vilka åtgärder som måste tas och att tillvaron helt plötsligt känns väldigt osäker. Denna bild är alltså bara lite ...

This weeks topic on Illustration Friday is Time Time should I draw a clock in some cute shape or form ?  No for me time is something more like - Oh I have time, I do a bunch of stuff or I do nothing and all of a sudden I am running out of time and ends up late ( only sometimes :)) And when I am realizing what time it is and that I am not really ready at all this is what I look like... Kind of calm on the outside and pretty stressed inside ( I make my husband even more stressed..)

As we are entering Q3 2013, Team Nikolovski is now making the new organizational structure official. We go from a flat organization to a very hierarchical organization. Mila Kristina Nikolovski is a small but powerful boss on the top. Maria Cecilia Book Nikolovski assistant and operational manager of the food supply. Mr Loren Nikolovski assistant and manager of diapers and entertainment. Lates important decission taken by the boss is that nighttime snacking is totally aloud and something she wants to continue with for at least Q3 & Q4 2013.

Houses has always inspired me and been created in my drawing-pads over and over again. Fantasy mushroom houses, troll houses and typical Swedish red farmhouses with stables and a green garden. I also remember one summer when I was around 13 years old and worked all summer with a view of a little street with French type buildings and a cute café with green chairs. While I draw I am living there at that place in that house, on that farm or walking that street. I can smell the grass, the coffee, I know how it looks inside and what life is like in that painting. I love to enter to my creative dream worlds. Lately I have again started to draw houses and this time it is very influence by town-life and my sceneries while walking the streets of Prague. Prague has amazingly beautiful facades in different styles and colors and decorated with many impressive statues. Does this means that I am really living in my creative dream world? Solen och värmen kom  Blek hud mötte solens strålar Våren slutade tveka och knoppar brast  Naturen kläddes i gröna nyanser Förra veckan var helt fantastisk med sommar temperaturer och solsken. Det är helt ok att vara hemma. Det är som jag får nypa mig i armen. Njuter till fullo gör vi. Mila är dock lite fyra månaders kinkig och har lärt sig bemästra konsten att gnälla, men skratten och det busiga leendet väger upp gnällandet. Vad jag gör om dagarna..  Jag dricker kaffe, promenerar, dricker mer kaffe. Åker in till stan. Äter lunch med mamma bebis kompisar. Yoga måndag och onsdag ( inte alltid så avslappnat som det borde vara, Mila tröttna efter ett kort tag..) Kindermusiken på fredagar uppskattas mer, då sjungs och skrattas det (jag står för sången och Mila för skratten.) Förra veckan var det premiär för att provsmaka mat. Mr Nikolovski is appointed as Team Nikolovski's grocery shopping manager. This is an important role and a role he takes very seriously. When the light has fallen he heads to one or two stores to do the weekly shopping. The list is written and he is taking his time touching, squeezing and smelling products of interest. We have done a through ECO hunt and are happy to say that we can find good products organic certified here in Prague. Mr Nikolovski likes his shopping and takes his time picking the right products. He is reading what everything contains and is avoiding scary E-numbers and chemicals, which is to say the least not easy these days. The other day when he came home from the store, he was a little giddy. He said " I am not sure if I am going mad or not.. but I find myself shaking and moving the shopping-cart back and forth like a crazy person.People must think I am a little cocko shaking the groceries just like the baby.." Hur känns det att att tränga in sig i en för liten BH när man ammar? Så löd tävlingen på Kittys blogg . Jo det vill jag lova att jag har koll på. Jag vet inte hur många BH:ar jag har köpt de senaste månaderna. Rejäla storlekar med förhoppning om att rattarna ska få ordentligt med plats och trivas, men icke. De pöser över lite överallt och tyngdlagen gör sitt. De är sprängfyllda och vill inte låta sig kontrolleras. Jag tittar mig i spegeln och tänker för mig själv Mamma Mu är det du? För varje nytt BH köp har jag vandrat längs alfabetets långa rad av ståtliga bokstäver. Vi går från klarhet till klarhet. Team Nikolovski's mini medlem växer och frodas. Hon äter, sover och fyller blöjer dagarna i ända. Jag och Mila har mest hängt hemma den första månaden för att få in snitsen på allt och gömma oss undan vintern och dess otäcka baciller. När hon kom var hon så liten så liten och vi trodde hon skulle vara så pytteliten länge länge. Men hon är ju stora tjejen nu, 4,7 kg, hela 55 cm och 7 veckor... Med en stor tjej kan man ge sig ut på äventyr som att gå på stan, shoppa, njuta av Prags vackra vyer, träffa kompisar och dricka kaffe. We are going from strength to strength. Team Nikolovski's mini member is eating and sleeping all day every day and as a result growing and growing (yes I am stating the obvious..) But she was so tiny when she came from the hospital and we thought that she would be tiny forever. During the first month we have mainly stayed in our comfort-zone ( home, visits to the pediatrician and walks in our area) to get use to ea...

I know that it has nearly gone a week since we welcomed the new year, but I had to make an illustration of the impressive fireworks Prague showed us. I never seen such firework show before, not even the world championship in fireworks at Stockholm water festival sometime back in the 90th was even close to this show. Colorful pyrotechnic in all directions and as beautiful it is I can't help myself from thinking of fireworks all down-sides: All the money spent and lit on fire, that it is too many people blowing a hand or an eye away and of course all the dogs scared to death. Anyhow we had a great view from our balcony and we are hoping that 2013 will be a  good year. It will for sure be a year full of new experiences and all we are asking for is good health.

During December I have been baking quit a lot of different things. Sweet cinemon buns ( Swedish specialty) toffee ginger-bread cookies ( great experiment) licorice biscotties (I Love them...) and a bunch more cool and caloric stuff. Great to have home-made cookies home to enjoy with a cup of coffee or a glass of cold milk here and there.... But there is just one problem, I eat everything as fast as I am baking... This means that if I bake in the evening they are ALL gone by the morning. Mr Nikolovski is chocked over my piles of cookies and believe me he is trying to control me as much as he can.. But I just can't resist freshly baked cookies and surely it is not that bad, only sugar, flour and butter = super natural... Jag har under december och i väntans tider passat på och bakat en hel del. Jag har bakat kola pepparkakor, lakrits biscottis, igelkottar och chokladkakor. Jag har och läst i någon käck föräldrar tidning att det kan vara bra att fylla frysen med lite ...

After all the waiting, five days after due date, Team Nikolovskis little baby girl decided it was time to come out. At Prague Kralovske Vinohrady on Thursday 20.12.2012 at 14.35  little Mila Kristina Nikolovski was born. She came out strong and healthy, 51 cm and 3,9 kg. Everything went well and we are so happy to have her here with us. She is amazing and a real sweetheart, Team Nikolovski can't stop looking at her. We are proud and happy parents, trying to get to know our baby girl and do what is best for her. We are blessed that she has a lot of patience and understanding for her parents who are still learning what and when to do things. Efter månader av väntan och längtan bestämde sig vår lilla dotter att det var dags att komma ut fem dagar efter beräknat datum. With all this extra time available, I am entertaining myself with a bunch of different projects. Last week I got inspired to make Xmas in Team Nikolovski houshold. Off to IKEA I went. Found some funky fabrics to work with and spend a good few hours sewing Xmas curtains (gives a lot of grown-up points indeed..). I was pretty pleased with the result and proudly presented my work for Mr Nikolovski when he came home.. He looked them up and down and tried to like them BUT admitted that they remind him of a cheap ice-cream stand ...    

If we have to wait much longer Team Nikolovski will become old and wrinkly We will dress in old fashion cloths and listen to old fashion music (ohh yeah we do that already...) Om vi måste vänta längre kommer Team Nikolovski att bli gamla och rynkiga. Vi kommer att klä oss i omoderna kläder och lyssna på omodern musik ( just det det gör vi ju redan..)

  I am focused on waiting and being patient, therefor is also my sketches influenced...  I will continue working on different waiting stories for a bit longer, I guess... Patiently waiting... Jag har fullt fokus på att vänta och ha tålamod, därför är även mina teckningar influerande. Jag antar att jag kommer att fortsätta med olika vänta historier ett tag till.. Tålmodigt väntar jag...

Post office waiting Old retired people in different forms like early mornings. They also seems to like waiting for the post-office to open. To be first in line and first to be served. Patiently waiting for the light to get turned on and the door to be opened. Att vänta utanför Posten Pensionärer verkar gilla tidiga mornar. De verkar också gilla att vara  ut i god tid och vänta på att postkontoret ska öppna. Dagens första kund. Redo att uträtta diverse ärrenden och står där tålmodigt och väntar. (Nu vet jag inte om vi har några Postkontor kvar i Sverige, men det kan lika gärna vara en bank...)  

Recessions also affects the Christmas spirit in many ways.
