I made this illustration some time ago before our little Mila turned 2 years old as memory of her current interests. She is developing so fast at the moment with her language it is new words and cool sentences everyday. I heard somewhere that they pick up 10 new words per day in this age. To illustrate some of them is a way for me to remember as it is so easy to forget cool stuff too fast. So since this was illustrated a lot has happened so this is a recap of Mila in November 2014 mainly for me ( proud mother with short memory) so you are excused if you don't feel like reading this... And so I finally found my camera in all moving mess and can do a short update what has happened lately. Lets move back a bit. End of October Team Nikolovski said bye bye to beautiful Prague. We have really enjoyed our time and made Prague our home so it was very emotional to pack and leave. I think it is the place that was the hardest for me to leave. The size of the city is perfect, the beauty and it is a very comfortable way of living. But hardest was to say bye to our friends that we have made and that Mila has grown side by side with since she is born and they have really become great friends. We have had such a great play dates and lunches and will miss it a lot. We knew that we most probably was not going to stay in Prague but even so hard to leave when you feel nice and comfortable somewhere. I don't know where she has got her strong will from... (Mr Nikolovski maybe you have any ideas?!) I thought she would be a baby baby for ever and ever. But she is becoming a strong willed little kid for each day. Since a couple of months back she shakes her little head and says no. Actually she is showing with her whole body when she means NO and she is using this power of NO frequently. NO to food (most of the time) NO to give pappa a kiss or hug (most of the time) and NO to go to bed. Well thinking about it the NO list can be made long. With tricks and bribes ( watching P!nk videos) most NO's can be turned in to yes (for now..) What she also started around the same time was to put her little finger to her mouth, looking at me and saying SSSHHH!! Where she has picked this up from I don't know but what I do know is that she is utilizing this more and more. Autumn is a beautiful season no doubt. We all seems to be amazed and impressed by all the beautiful colors of the autumn leaves that are transforming our landscape and slowly preparing us for cold and dark season. Just go on Instagram and it is currently full of leaves from different countries and perspective. It is touching how we worship the yellow, red and orange leaves, nearly as mush as when they first come in the early spring. I also love this season. Fresh, bright air on a sunny autumn day. All the vibrant colors all around us, so strong, beautiful and powerful.   Time to buy cute and warm scarfs woolen hats, socks and gloves. Light some candles, make hot chocolate and scones and enjoy it in front of a good movie.   All good, but new for this year is the panic over what and how to dress the smallest member of Team Nikolovski. Were we really this silly before we had a baby? What did we spend our time doing before?  Is it really that fun to see us pop up in the doorway and say tittut in a loud voice? Or maybe she is just being polite and laughing to make us happy.

Today me and a friend took our little girls to a new playground here in Prague. A big soft carpet to practice standing and crawling. Different toys to play with. Relax area. Big slide and swing set. Cute place. Everything was creatively hand made and not so plastic as other play places I have been to. I am sure you can find this kind of places in most countries. But I am not sure that they all serve beer, wine and cocktails in the bar. At least in Sweden you can forget about it. In Sweden the strongest you can get is a coffee and there they talk about mothers who heavily consume cafe latte while being on maternity leave "latte morsor". Here in Czech republic Pilsner/Staropramen/Slatopramen, you-name-it-pramen mothers. Great idea is it not? I am sure the playground will be much more fun after a couple of beers. Can you imagine it.. Mothers laughing, talking load, running around, crawling, sliding down the slide in crazy poses after a few drinks. Who said that the playground...

I am drawing many different things here and there. I got to think about the symbolic and what it says about who am I. I will guide you through what I have found on the big internet and make a very objective analyze and conclusion. Butterflies Reading on a rather spiritual site that the symbolic for butterflies are reincarnation and happiness for the life.    Cats Cats are tame but at the same time an unpredictable wild animal. Soft, innocent and cuddly but in the next minute upset and hissing. Symbolizes changeable and unpredicted.   Teddy-bears A symbol for love and security Owls Who haven't heard smart as an owl. Symbol for knowledge and wisdom. What does this make of me? I am sweet and soft. A little unpredictable. Always right. Self-confident and love life very much.  Hmm no sign of nice and caring. Jag har för mig att det var någon gång i början på året som jag bestämde mig för att jag nog ska spara ut håret lite längre igen. Vet inte exakt hur resonemanget gick uppe i mitt huvud när jag kom framtill att det var en bra idé med långt yvigt hår. Tjocka långa tagel likanande hårstrån i massor. Ett burrigt hårsvall som tar alldeles för lång tid att tvätta och torka. Vill jag verkligen se ut som Ronja Rövadotter? Nej vet du vad, nu är det jag som samlar ihop mig själv och tar mig till frisören snarast.

Talking about rain.. There is so many different approaches to weather forecasts. Mr Nikolovski put his trust in the Norwegians, www.yr.no is without a doubt one of his most visited webpage. My friend Miki put her trust into her phone. " My phone says it will be nice weather on Wednesday" makes me laugh.. But.. Am I the only stupid one that just looks through the window and end up either too cold, too warm or too wet ?

Since I became mamma I have changed some of my accessories...

 I have a love-hate relationship to washing. I love the feeling of putting things in the washing machine. If I don't have things in the washing basket ready for washing I go for a hunt around the apartment looking for things that can do with a wash. This behavior is totally inherited from my mother who could ask me to take clothes off so she could wash it ( possible that they also smelled a little horsey..) As much as I love the washing moment I hate the feeling of having to fold and put away washed and dried cloths.And don't even mention ironing, I refuse, a crease or two has never hurt anyone... These days the washing pile is bigger but at the same time more bright and colorful. Sweet little clothes for a sweet little girl. Jag har ett speciellt förhållande till att tvätta kläder, en passionerad hatkärlek. Kärleken riktas mot att få stoppa in kläder i tvättmaskinen för tvätt. Finns det inte mycket i tvättkorgen letar jag rätt på något som kan behöva en tvätt. ...

Våren låter vänta på sig vill jag lova. Visserligen har det varit några dagar den senaste månaden då solen kommit fram och temperaturerna vågat sig uppåt en smula tillsammans med hoppet om vår, men inget att skryta med direkt. Nej istället har snön fallit var och varannan dag. Media både här och där har fullt upp med att rapportera att detta banne mig är den kallaste mars ever.. Oj oj vad vi alla väntar och längtar efter att få svida om till chica vårkläder i pastellfärger och säga "VINTERN RASAT UT!" högt och tydligt. Men den som väntar på något gott väntar alltid för länge.. Brudarna ovan är liksom mitt rop på våren, de är så galet redo för våren, precis som jag!! Aren't we all waiting for spring to arrive !? All parents are of course super proud of their babies, how they are learning and growing. In fact it is pretty common to proudly mention the babies current weight and length. This makes me smile and I can't help myself to think what if we introduce all team members in the same way??

I am pretty good at multitasking But there is always room for improvement I am thinking something like this maybe..

Lately people keeps asking me: "Are you sleeping? " and "How are you sleeping?" In matter of fact what they are asking is whether or not baby Nikolovski are sleeping or not.  I will tell you and illustrate this.. Already in November Team Nikolovski bought a baby crib in order to be ready for the arrival of the new mini member. We prepared it with cute little blanket and pillow. We filled it with sweet cuddly toys in different shapes. We put it close to our bed. It was really looking a million dollars and very cozy. But when little baby Nikolovski came home she did not want to sleep there. Today the bed are used as storage for dirty and clean cloths all in great big pile.. Jag får numera ganska ofta frågan om huruvida jag sover eller ej.  Ja eller rättare sagt huruvida lilltjejen sover eller ej.  Jo det ska jag ta och berätta och illustrera.. Redan i november införskaffade Team Nikolovski en fin spjälsäng redo för den nya medlemmen. Den bäddades och ...

Mini Nikolovski har en mycket söt nalle i form av en fet turkos katt. Han är helt underbart söt med fina små ögon och den gosigaste magen. I vänsterhanden håller han en liten rosa fågel, en kompis !? Eller ja kompis och kompis han är ju en katt som tycker att småfåglar utgör en smaklig måltid. Han har nog kanske eventuellt fångat denna rosa pippi för att leka lite med den och sedan smaka lite på den. Mr Nikolovski ifrågasätter om det är "politisktkorrekt" att ha en leksak som släpar runt på sitt byte. Ähh korrekt och korrekt är man söt med små oskylldiga ögon och en gosig mage så kommer man undan med mord. Mini Nikolovski has a very cute turquoise fat cat. He is adorable. Min mamma Mi och Milas mormor var här för några veckor sedan. Det var mycket trevligt att ha henne på besök. Jag har sedan besöket funderat på om mormödras utveckling och har kommit fram till att Milas mormor av det nya uppdaterade typen. En mormor 2.0 helt enkelt. Föregångaren  förknippar jag med en bullbakande tant i kappa och hat. My mother and Milas grandmother was here a couple of weeks ago and every since I have been thinking about the development of grandmothers. Milas grandmother is for sure a grandmother of the new updated type, a grandmother 2.0. Back in the day grandmothers used to look like old lady's dressed in old fashion gown and hat.
