New eco tunic

I have bought a lot of new cute fabrics lately. I will take a picture and show my nice new pile and color explosion as soon as I get a chance. For now let me introduce this nice Lillestoff ecological jersey fabric "Retroflower" which I made a little tunic of for Mila. The design of the tunic is simple and my own design with inspiration from Ottobre magazine. Useful for playing as it is not to long and also not too long sleeves. The shorter tunic with the circus theme is also new but the fabric I bought last year and arms made of pappa Loren's old T-shirts.

Recycling project

Finally Mr Nikolovski decided to through out a whole bunch of his old t-shirts. Wash out & well worn t-shirts with yellow mining machines a cross the chest. They were more then ready to be binned after heavy usage. I should be happy, but instead this weird thing happens like every time when I am sorting out old cloths. I ask myself the question "are they really ready to be gone forever?" and I take the pile of old t-shirts and look through them thoroughly.  This time I decided to utilize them for one of my many sewing projects. These old t-shirts got turned in to little sweatshirts for Mila. Recycling is good and I am following the slogan "Please reuse waste reduce" Even Mila seems pretty happy with her new garments

New colors and fabrics in the house

New season and a whole bunch of new fabrics have been bought for coming spring collection. I found nice fabrics by Dapper made by pinkstudio in a latky shop here in Prague. Bright Green, cerise and warm yellow colors makes a great cheerful combination. Cotton jersey fabrics to be turned into sweet clothes for happy, active and funky kids. I have been making a few tops, dresses and scarves so far. I am also waiting many new funky fabrics ordered from Sweden which will be included in my spring collection.
