There is some good things that has come out of this Corona lockdown and if I in this post would mention something I would say reading in general and JK Rowlings new book in particular. The idea to the story  "The Ickabog" JK Rowling came up with many years ago but it never got published because she had focus on other book project at the time. When this Corona pandemi came and put scare in to the world and lock us at home across the globe she decided to rewrite bits and publish it for free. It is a story for children not a new Harry Potter with magic no it is an entirely different story. Over seven weeks one or a few chapters at the time will be published. In addition to the story JK Rowling is encouraging her readers to illustrate the story and gives suggestions what to illustrate. Also an official competition for the drawings which publishers will pick for the printed version. I loved to write and illustrate books when I was a child or actually I still love it and dream of making childrens books. Mila has already started to follow my footstep but in a slightly different genre then myself. Mila is more into science-fiction//horror.

Today has been a beautiful day here in Prague. Cold or actually freezing and clear sky and bright sun. Every time I walk over one of the bridges over-viewing  the river and Prague's beautiful facades. The impressive castle in one direction and Vyserad church in the other. And I get overwhelmed of its beauty and for each time I fall a little bit more in love with this magical place. Sunny and clear days like today make it even more beautiful and magical. Pretty often I take pictures of this view and the photo never make the view justice I guess it has to be seen live.  Strange that I have picked this illustration with a girl inside on a rainy day you might think. This is an illustration I made before I went out today and is a proposal to a job for a children book about a little girl called Hazel. Many different illustrators can make a proposal and bid for the job. I thought the job sounded like a cool project, so fingers crossed.
