Easter-break in Sweden. It was a bit painful to travel back to snow and winter at least the thought of it before we actually got there, but once there it was nice to come home for a couple of weeks. We had some very nice sunny days and relaxing days at Lundsätter. Kids enjoy coming home to play outside, see family and play with friends and so do I. After five years living in Germany going back home for the school-breaks are very special for us but this time it was also emotional for me that this will actually be our last trip before we move back to Sweden. I am ready for the move after five very nice years in Düsseldorf but still it is very nostalgic and hard to leave a place which has become home. I am sure I will get back on this topic a few more times before summer when the move will happen.  Easter-break was very good. Mila did a successful Easter-jumping competition at the local riding-school with Bandit a nice pony with the coolest mustache. We went to the swimming-pool, bbq ...

A couple of weekends ago we decided to take the kids to Eigenlob keramik so they could paint their own pottery. I thought they might think it would be fun but you never know until you've tried. At the pottery place they have a wide assortment of different things to paint from cups and plates to small ornaments. Filip decided that he wanted to paint a two in one tee pot/cup ( not that he drinks tee but he was determined) and Mila wanted to paint a horse. I picked a bigger bowl. Kids did great and really concentrated on what to paint and they spend probably 40 minutes focusing on that. But as my bowl took longer time to paint the kids when the finished they asked if they could pick something more to paint and because I wanted peace and quiet I said yes. And so it ended up being a pretty expensive activity, but hey something we all enjoyed and we will definitely come back and make some more magic. Last picture is how it all ended up after burning and glaced. 

I got inspired from some fun pictures on Instagram a while ago to draw on porcelain. I headed to my favorite art supply store in Prague ( yes miss it very much..) to purchase porcelain paint and pens. I have also bought and collected some different white porcelain pieces to try on. It is fun but not as easy as I thought as the material is very slippery but I guess I will learn the technique give some time. Here is a few pieces I created. Very hard to take good pictures of them that's why all these fun arrangements.
