The baby effect

Mr Nikolovski is appointed as Team Nikolovski's grocery shopping manager. This is an important role and a role he takes very seriously. When the light has fallen he heads to one or two stores to do the weekly shopping. The list is written and he is taking his time touching, squeezing and smelling products of interest. We have done a through ECO hunt and are happy to say that we can find good products organic certified here in Prague. Mr Nikolovski likes his shopping and takes his time picking the right products. He is reading what everything contains and is avoiding scary E-numbers and chemicals, which is to say the least not easy these days.

The other day when he came home from the store, he was a little giddy. He said " I am not sure if I am going mad or not.. but I find myself shaking and moving the shopping-cart back and forth like a crazy person.People must think I am a little cocko shaking the groceries just like the baby.."
You are not mad och crazy it is just the baby effect, where the most important rule is don't-you-dare stop-moving-the-stroller-or-else-I-will-wake-up-and-make-you-run-all-the-way-home-with me-screaming-until-I-nearly-choke...
I must admit I am also heavily baby-effected and a little mad. I am sitting rocking from side to side when I see or hear Baby Nikolovski.

Weekly update 40/52 Autumn colors and cinnamon buns

Welcome October the most colorful month of the year. Yes we are going full steam towards the darker and colder part of the year, but I have to admit it is cosy and pretty with all the colorful leaves.  I don't know if it is a new thing to have theme days where a dish or something is being celebrated. I am guessing it is a capitalistic marketing great idea so companies can make more money like Valentine day. One of those days in Sweden is 4 of October when our national bakery Cinnamon bun is being honored. I got inspired! Some time ago I bought nice linnen tea-towels which I was planning to make some print/design on and when I got inspired by cinnamon bun I knew exactly what to make. I started scribbling and drawing buns on a big sheet. When I had one or two which I thought looked ok I transfered my bun drawing to my Cricut and had it cut out on iron-on vinyl. My mum is a master in baking buns and so I made a tea-towel/baking-towel in honor of not only cinnamon buns but of my mother...

Weekly update 38/52 Örebro Autumn market in summer sun

It was exciting to participate at my first market being back in Örebro, Sweden. It was an Autumn market in the beautiful setting of Karlslund Estate in Örebro. Most exhibitor were selling locally grown fruit, veggies and flowers. Also jams, marmelades, bakeries and cheeses. It was a sunny beautiful day and it attracted a lot of people. It was fun to finally again set up my display and show my products. The market stand/table I rented from the organizer and it was perfect size and cute. My best-sellers were my hats in smaller sizes. Amd to next market I need to make more fleece-lined hats since it gets cooler here in Swedem during the winter.
