Regained energy

It was only like 2 weeks ago I made this illustration of myself and only 2 posts ago. My feeling of not feeling of doing nothing in the kitchen. "You used to like to bake and to bake with Mila" Loren reminded
And I just felt tired and uahhhhh 


But guess what after only 14 days of summer holiday I created these cinnamon buns

Påsken 2021

Vi flög till Stockholm och hängde några dagar hos mamma i deras nya lägenhet inne i stan. Barnen testade leka i Vasaparken rakt över gatan. Första vårsolen värmde äntligen lite. Det kändes härligt och konstigt att folk satt på uteserveringar och att restauranger och caféer var öppna. Prinsesstårta, semla och påskbakelse på en uteservering. Jag passade på att klippa mig eftersom frisörerna varit stängda sedan december och min man vuxit sig lång. Jag följde med Sofie ut till stallet och red hennes fina häst medan barnen hade movie night med mormor.  Nere i Vingåker fick vi äntligen träffa Bozze och morfar. Leka med bästis och grilla med farbror Christer. Min morfar var färdig vaccinerad och bjöd oss på våfflor. Barnen gick till frisören och blev kanonsnygga i håret. Lekt mycket med grannbarnen och njutit av att kunna spring och ut hur och när man vill.  En morgon vaknade vi till snö. Aprilväder. Filip och jag gick en före-frukost promenad i skogen för att njuta av snön. Eftersom det ändå

More honesty to the world, please...

Is this really the view about honesty??  I am seriously chocked!! My new hairdresser ís very honest... Last time I was there she told me my hair has a dull cardboard box tone...  I understood directly that it can't be a good thing to compare my haircolor with a greyish box... Thanks to honesty my hair is now shiny in a brown/redish color... My hair is looking good and I am a happy and satisfied customer If you ask me Honesty & Honest people rules!!!

Weekly Update 24/52 Making leaving gifts and wine ladies

During week 24 I have been working on preparing thank you gifts for kids teachers and friends. I like to give something symbolic which also can be useful. This year I decided to buy water bottles for the teachers and to make them personalized writing their name and some flowers on them. I bought plain smaller bottles at IKEA. With my Cricut i designed and cut it out of permanent vinyl. With adding vinyl on the bottles, they can only be hand-washed otherwise the vinyl will come off.  After five years in Germany I have gotten so use to saying Frau Janssen rather then using her first name. So I decided that I will use the last name because that is the only name the kids use. Funny how you get use to something that I from the beginning thought was so stupid and old fashion.  When I was playing around with my Cricut I also figured out how to transfer my wine ladies into svg file which is needed so the machine can cut out my illustrations. I did a test with iron on transfer vinyl. I made the
