Tabata training tomorrow

Tomorrow we have a theme day for all the teachers at my school with focus on health. Lectures about impact of what we eat, mindfulness and training. We could pick between walk, swimming, yoga and tabata. I picked tabata. I was the only one who picked tabata. I want to get sweaty I said And agreed to have a private lesson in this high impact type of exercise with our Swedish teacher who is the rather typical Swedish teacher style of teacher = hard but fair. What have I sign myself up for? I am in the same great shape as this illustration I made 4 years ago = not very fit = not fit all. I hope tomorrow she will be more fair then hard on me and my poor unfit body. Wish me good luck.

On the body theme Mila told me this morning "mamma girls doesn't have hairy legs! Girls has prickly legs!" ("mamma tjejer har ju inte håriga ben! tjejer har taggar på benen!" )

Weekly update 42/52 New fleece hats ready for the cooler weather

Weekly update 38/52 Örebro Autumn market in summer sun

It was exciting to participate at my first market being back in Örebro, Sweden. It was an Autumn market in the beautiful setting of Karlslund Estate in Örebro. Most exhibitor were selling locally grown fruit, veggies and flowers. Also jams, marmelades, bakeries and cheeses. It was a sunny beautiful day and it attracted a lot of people. It was fun to finally again set up my display and show my products. The market stand/table I rented from the organizer and it was perfect size and cute. My best-sellers were my hats in smaller sizes. Amd to next market I need to make more fleece-lined hats since it gets cooler here in Swedem during the winter.

Weekly update 41/52 Time for warmer hats, nice books and last garden projects

October and week 41 and I have been making lots of new jersey hats with fleece lining. The weather is getting colder and colder and yes hat season is here. I will during the week add new fun warm hats in my web-shop. The hats will also be sold at Christmas markets here in Örebro. New this year for me is that I am making baby hats since I got a lot of requests. I find it hard to make baby hats because they look so small, it is hard to remember how small babies are. Also this week big happiness over at new book release from my favorite children book illustrator Sven Nordqvist. "Vägen Hem" a wonderful book with amazing illustrations. I have also bought and planted some new plants inspired from some nice park arrangements here in Örebro. Now lets hope that all the deer in the forrest will not eat all of these, as I forgot to check wether or not these are tasty to them.
