Weekly update 3/52 2023 Düsseldorf enmal cup

Alright here is one of my New years tasks to myself and my creativity
- to continue the weekly update !
It is week 3 of 2023 and lets do this !

A few weeks before Christmas I was selling my stuff at Kiwifalter's Winterfest here in Düsseldorf. Vonkreation was also there selling her nice cups, bags, shirts etc. All her stuff and ideas are super cool and I asked if it would be possible to print one of my illustrations on an enmal cup. The enamel cups are cute and great for picnics to serve coffee or even better Glühwein. I picked my Düsseldorf motive and also got help to pick a nice German quote used during Glühwein season " Lasst uns froh und munter sein".

I am very happy with the result and I will bring them with to nice adventures in the nature in the future.

Weekly update 42/52 New fleece hats ready for the cooler weather

Weekly update 40/52 Autumn colors and cinnamon buns

Welcome October the most colorful month of the year. Yes we are going full steam towards the darker and colder part of the year, but I have to admit it is cosy and pretty with all the colorful leaves. I don't know if it is a new thing to have theme days where a dish or something is being celebrated. I am guessing it is a capitalistic marketing great idea so companies can make more money like Valentine day. One of those days in Sweden is 4 of October when our national bakery Cinnamon bun is being honored. I got inspired! Some time ago I bought nice linnen tea-towels which I was planning to make some print/design on and when I got inspired by cinnamon bun I knew exactly what to make. I started scribbling and drawing buns on a big sheet. When I had one or two which I thought looked ok I transfered my bun drawing to my Cricut and had it cut out on iron-on vinyl. My mum is a master in baking buns and so I made a tea-towel/baking-towel in honor of not only cinnamon buns but of my mother...

Weekly update 41/52 Time for warmer hats, nice books and last garden projects

October and week 41 and I have been making lots of new jersey hats with fleece lining. The weather is getting colder and colder and yes hat season is here. I will during the week add new fun warm hats in my web-shop. The hats will also be sold at Christmas markets here in Örebro. New this year for me is that I am making baby hats since I got a lot of requests. I find it hard to make baby hats because they look so small, it is hard to remember how small babies are. Also this week big happiness over at new book release from my favorite children book illustrator Sven Nordqvist. "Vägen Hem" a wonderful book with amazing illustrations. I have also bought and planted some new plants inspired from some nice park arrangements here in Örebro. Now lets hope that all the deer in the forrest will not eat all of these, as I forgot to check wether or not these are tasty to them.
