Prague shades of grey

Winter in Prague and I have seen hundreds of shades of grey.

The whole atmospshere is grey

The day starts grey and ends grey

Like a big dirty cloud over the city

I don't need to tell you just how amazing it was to see the blue sky and sun shine this morning..

Please let this weather stay for a while now

Vinter i Prag går i de gråaste av de gråaste skalor
Det som om någon spillt ut en gråfärg över hela staden
Det är grått så långt ögat kan nå och så har det varit nu i flera veckor
I morse när jag vaknade kunde jag för första gången på väldigt länge se himlen och solen.
Härligt kan vi våga hoppas på att våren börja närma sig?

Weekly update 40/52 Autumn colors and cinnamon buns

Welcome October the most colorful month of the year. Yes we are going full steam towards the darker and colder part of the year, but I have to admit it is cosy and pretty with all the colorful leaves. I don't know if it is a new thing to have theme days where a dish or something is being celebrated. I am guessing it is a capitalistic marketing great idea so companies can make more money like Valentine day. One of those days in Sweden is 4 of October when our national bakery Cinnamon bun is being honored. I got inspired! Some time ago I bought nice linnen tea-towels which I was planning to make some print/design on and when I got inspired by cinnamon bun I knew exactly what to make. I started scribbling and drawing buns on a big sheet. When I had one or two which I thought looked ok I transfered my bun drawing to my Cricut and had it cut out on iron-on vinyl. My mum is a master in baking buns and so I made a tea-towel/baking-towel in honor of not only cinnamon buns but of my mother...

Weekly update 38/52 Örebro Autumn market in summer sun

It was exciting to participate at my first market being back in Örebro, Sweden. It was an Autumn market in the beautiful setting of Karlslund Estate in Örebro. Most exhibitor were selling locally grown fruit, veggies and flowers. Also jams, marmelades, bakeries and cheeses. It was a sunny beautiful day and it attracted a lot of people. It was fun to finally again set up my display and show my products. The market stand/table I rented from the organizer and it was perfect size and cute. My best-sellers were my hats in smaller sizes. Amd to next market I need to make more fleece-lined hats since it gets cooler here in Swedem during the winter.
